In this project I wanted to understand how others perceived the word Alone. Was it in a positive light or a negative light? I distributed a questionnaire amongst colleagues, friends and family with just one question. What is do you understand by ‘Alone?’ This was printed on white A4 Ecolabel paper. The responses on the paper were varied ranging from independent to lonely. Some people (children mostly) had drawn their response. All the responses were made into paper boats and launched on a local river. Some boats collided and went down the river together, some did not. The images shown are a record of this.
